What is the Phillips Lift?
The Phillips Lift is a patented barbed thread technology developed by Dr. Phillips, representing a unique and more advanced version of PDO (polydioxanone) thread lifting.
While traditional PDO thread treatments primarily focus on stimulating collagen production, the barbed threads used in the Phillips Lift physically anchor into the tissue, creating a real mechanical lifting effect — similar to a surgical facelift, but without the associated surgical risks.

How does the treatment work?
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, ensuring minimal discomfort during the treatment.
The absorbable PDO threads are inserted into the subdermal layer of the skin, where they provide a dual effect: they physically lift sagging tissue by anchoring toward the scalp while simultaneously stimulating natural collagen production.
The duration of the treatment varies individually, but it generally takes approximately 60–90 minutes. Mild pain, bruising, and swelling may occur for a few days after the procedure, but these symptoms typically improve quickly. The full recovery period is approximately two weeks.

The effects of the Phillips Lift are visible immediately after the procedure and continue to improve over the following weeks as collagen production increases around the threads.
